Fahey Says He Will Sign Ordinance
Omaha Mayor Mike Fahey wanted a total ban on smoking in public places, but he announced today that he is accepting a compromise to protect the health of Omaha residents.
Fahey said that he continues to believe a total ban would be the most equitable way to address the issue but that such a step is not practical at this time.
